Business challenge

As France's leading parcel delivery operator for e-commerce, Colissimo faced accelerating market disruption: growing competition from GLS, Mondial Relay and Amazon Shipping, rising customer expectations around sustainability and speed, and the emergence of generative AI as a key performance driver.

Across its commercial, marketing, export and HR teams, the challenge was to rapidly upskill 300+ employees with highly varied AI maturity levels — without access to mainstream tools on company computers, and with strict data security requirements. The goal: make AI immediately actionable through real, job-specific use cases.

Solution

We designed and delivered a tailored 6-hour training program per group, preceded by a thorough field audit — manager interviews, participant surveys, and collection of real working documents (meeting report templates, client presentations, prospecting methods).

Four business units were addressed in pilot groups: sales teams (150+ people across regional branches and strategic accounts), marketing & communications, export & overseas, and HR. Each session combined generative AI onboarding, prompting skills, data security awareness, and hands-on practice drawn directly from Colissimo's day-to-day workflows — meeting reports, client meeting preparation, prospecting, translation, Excel analysis, and COPIL presentations.

The program launched with a nationwide roadshow in 2024 (272 employees across 5 cities) and continued with in-depth small-group sessions throughout 2025–2026.

Outcomes

  • 300+ employees trained across sales, marketing, export and HR
  • 3 hours saved per week per participant on average (up to 3h30 for some teams)
  • 94% satisfaction rate across all groups
  • 91% of participants report using AI several times a week or more post-training
  • 9 out of 10 participants requested follow-up sessions to deepen their practice
  • Security knowledge gap eliminated: share of employees with no knowledge dropped ~39% to 0%
  • Share of employees viewing AI as "promising" rose from 61% to 83%
