### Challenge

Our client, a French multinational insurance Company, partnered with [PALO IT](https://www.palo-it.com/en-us/) to improve their digital capabilities and deliver user-centred assets.

The main focus of this phase of the project was to organise our client’s transition to a cloud-based architecture, [deploy DevOps best practices](https://www.palo-it.com/en-us/services/devops-as-a-service) to accelerate delivery, and ensure the quality of deliverables.​

### Approach

While supporting [DevOps deployment](https://www.palo-it.com/en-us/services/devops) within our client's internal hosting, our approach consisted of:

- Helping ‘Dockerise’ applications.
- Supporting and training our client's developers and operations teams to move part of the applications to the [Cloud (Amazon Web Services)](https://blog.palo-it.com/en/how-to-optimise-your-cloud-infrastructure-and-cut-costs-on-aws).
- The team aimed to automate the end-to-end delivery chain, from coding, to testing, to security checks, to production delivery.

- We automate most of the operation of the projects, accelerating the delivery of new products by 70%.​
- A better understanding and use of **microservice architecture.**​
- **15 applications** moved/re-engineered to the Cloud.​
- Increased awareness for **continuous delivery and deployment** for business teams.​
- Trained **four feature teams** across APAC (Singapore, Philippines and Hong Kong).​
- Aligned with business needs and spurred faster reaction to change.​
